A WILD boar became a friendly face at a new village in Rembau, Negri Sembilan, after local residents started feeding it two years ago,
Sin Chew Daily reported.
Even though wild boars are known to be a danger to humans, this one warmed up to people after local resident Li Yao Hua, 58, fed it leftovers.
It started visiting the village more often and the neighbours began feeding it sweets and rice.
According to another resident, the female boar had a penchant for sweets and would wag its tail when it saw her nine-year-old grandson in hopes that he would share his sweets.
