MOORHEAD More than 100 students from Moorhead High School walked out of class Monday, April 19, to express their concerns about local racism and police violence after the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright by an officer in Brooklyn Center, Minn.

MOORHEAD, MINN. (KFGO) – Moorhead police arrested one person who is accused of shooting a gun in the Romkey Park neighborhood Wednesday night.
Police responded to an apartment in the 900 block of 18th Street South around 10 p.m. after several reports of shots fired. Dexter Lee Fox, 24, of Moorhead, was taken into custody on a charge of reckless endangerment of a firearm. The gun was recovered at the scene.
No one was hurt. Police say all people involved knew each other and there was never any danger to the public.
Police have not released any information on what led to the incident.
