Michaela Loggins will compete in Miss Black International Ambassador Pageant in The Bahamas
When a fellow employee told Michaela Loggins about the Miss Black International Ambassador Pageant, the Tualatin woman wanted to make sure it wasn t simply a beauty pageant where beauty is valued over everything else.
What she quickly discovered was that the pageant was looking for much more. This is a pageant where they re really looking at your accolades and they re examining you as a person and what you are doing in your community and your ability to make a change, a positive change within your community and that s the part that really intrigued me, said Loggins.
