Doha: Qatar’s weekly property market has witnessed a significant surge in the volume of building sale deals which stood at QR656.3m, or 83.8 percent of the total sales volume, while land lots generated up to QR126.9m, or about 16 percent of the total sales, according to Ezdan Real Estate report.
The market activity from April 4-8 showed that the registered property sales reached QR783m and were distributed among 7 municipalities including Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, and Al Wakra, and included the sales of vacant lands, residences, multi-use buildings, multi-use land lots and residential buildings, according to the data gleaned from the real estate bulletin released by the Real Estate Registration Department.

Doha: Buildings of all types including residences, residential buildings and complexes have formed the chunk of the weekly property sales market generating up to QR284m, or 60.6 percent of the total sales volume in Qatar, while land lots generated up to QR184.4m, or about 39.4 percent of the total sales, said Ezdan Real Estate report which was sponsored by SAK Partnerships.
According to data gleaned from the real estate bulletin released by the Real Estate Registration Department from February 14-18, the registered property sales generated a total value of QR468.4m and the operations were distributed among 7 municipalities including Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Dhakhira, Al Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, and Al Wakra.

Doha: To ensure safety of food at eateries and other outlets in a situation when the country is beating COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has intensified its inspection campaign across the country.
In all municipalities of the country, surprise inspection visits are being paid to eateries, hypermarkets among other places to ensure the implementation of relevant laws.
Only last month (January 2021), the Ministry of Municipality and Environment conducted over 15,000 inspection visits in various municipalities. The inspection drives included eateries, building violations as well as encroachments on state property.
The Ministry said in a statement on its website that about 12,000 inspection drives carried out through electronic inspection system while 2,841 violations recorded by the municipalities in the last month.
