Covid-19 patients being turned away by hospitals in MP due to oxygen shortage
Several hospitals in Madhya Pradesh are turning away critical Covid-19 patients due to an acute shortage of oxygen cylinders.

Madhya Pradesh is facing an acute shortage of oxygen for treatment of Covid-19 patients at a time when the state is seeing a surge in daily cases. The state recorded 8,998 new cases on Wednesday.
The government has claimed that it has doubled oxygen supply to hospitals from 130 metric tonnes on April 8 to 267 metric tonnes on April 12.
