BHUBANESWAR: Clear skies and cool weather are the perfect setting for a winter picnic. And after being cooped up at home and spending months following unprecedented restrictions, the residents of the city are ready to make the most of what’s left of a dreadful year.
Although the number of picnics this winter is not even close to that of previous winters, many families have taken the picnic route to unwind. Afraid of travelling for a longer duration and scared to step out of the state, families are choosing to undertake day trips to familiar areas. They are also carrying their own food to ensure that contact with unfamiliar people and establishments is kept to a minimum.
