The school was one of two nationwide that were granted support for additional accommodation this week.
A well known School on the Roscommon/Galway border has received funding to construct 2 new special Needs rooms.
Creggs National School had applied to the Department of Education for increased accommodation for students with additional needs.
The new classrooms will work in conjunction with the schools sunshine room, a facility for children with severe to profound learning needs.
