Hurling fans across Ireland were quick to take screenshots of the mistake
AN INTER-COUNTY hurling semi-final briefly went international at the weekend when a broadcasting error suggested Dublin team-mates were representing England and Belgium.
During the Sky Sports coverage of the Dublin v Galway match a blood substitution was signalled to viewers with a flag from each country beside the names of the players.
Hurling fans across Ireland were quick to take screenshots of the mistake - which Dublin s rivals used as an opportunity to tease the side on social media.
Among those who spotted the error was former Down manager Ross Carr who asked: Sky/GAA any chance.
