It worked to recruit, train and support families who were willing to open up their homes to children in need who have experience trauma.Then two years later in 2001, the center s adoption center was licensed. The first adoption took place in 2003. Since then, the DCCH Center has finalized over 100 adoptions, with the 150th on Nov. 23.Michelle and Mike Mosley from Kenton County have adopted seven children through DCCH s foster care and adoption program.
