Dispatcher: Officials respond to incident in Canterbury and Weston roads area in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD There was an incident in the area of Canterbury and Weston roads Sunday, a dispatcher confirmed.
Police were dispatched to that area around 7:17 p.m., according to dispatcher Kayla Morey.
Morey confirmed around 8:20 p.m. that units are on the scene.

NEW LONDON Officials are investigating a Sunday carjacking near Bank and Summer streets, according to the police department.
A person told police that after her vehicle was hit from behind, she got out of her Infiniti Q60 to check for damage, according to a post from New London Police Department. When she did so, someone from the vehicle that hit her a four-door Mazda “got out with a gun, pointed it at her and stole her vehicle,” according to the post.
