AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) -Akron Police are on a mission, and they need the entire community to help them.
Monday, a 62-year-old woman was crossing the street between Arlington and Georgia when she was struck by a speeding car.
“Unfortunately after that, she was taken to the hospital and died. This is a tragic situation, and we are asking that anyone who saw anything to, please contact us,” said Lieutenant Michael Miller, lead spokesperson for the Akron Police

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - After nearly two months of wondering whether or not she would ever get the $2,000 dollars in COVID-19 financial relief, a Cleveland landlord is now happy.
Pamela Coleman reached out to the 19 News Troubleshooter unit earlier this month because she felt she was not getting anywhere with the CNH Housing Partners, an organization that processes COVID-19 relief applications for landlords and tenants affected by the pandemic, after filling out an application.

CLEVELAND, OHIO (WOIO) - The New Year could ring in a new approach for the Cleveland Division of Police.
Money is on the most wanted list for officers, old and new, and council members are in the process of working out some new avenues for the new budget.
Ward 9 City Councilman Kevin Conwell is also an active member of the city’s finance committee, and he sees a severe need for more police, especially with several members of the force retired or simply left the department altogether.
