Footage of Leighton Kimber’s brutal assault outside shops in Barton Fields, Oxford, was shared widely on social media. The victim sent the video on to detectives investigating the stabbing. On Friday, 18-year-old Kimber was sentenced to three years in youth detention for carrying out the attack. Sending him down, Judge Ian Pringle QC said: “You lost your temper and a fight started. High Street, Banbury Picture: GOOGLE A Kent man was caught on CCTV using a knife to threaten a group of men. Sam Jones, 27, had been due to stand trial on allegations he was in possession of the knife outside the MooMoo nightclub on May 17, 2019, and used it to threaten others. But before his trial could get underway at Oxford Crown Court, Jones, of Bayly Road, Dartford, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article. He will be sentenced on August 12. Two hours before Jones entered his plea, Judge Michael Gledhill QC was played footage from a camera on Banbury High Street, which showed the defendant get out the driver’s side of a red hatchback and chase after a small group of men.
PRISON time will not be served by a Bracknell man who arranged to meet up for sex with a fake 13-year-old girl . Anthony Gillam, of Warfield Park, Bracknell, messaged a decoy Facebook account which was posing as the young girl back in June 2018. A court heard, despite being told she was just 13 years old, Gillam arranged for them to meet at Premier Inn hotel in Slough. Continuing to message her, the 50-year-old asked her for topless photos and told her not to tell her mother about the hotel booking. However, Gillam cancelled the hotel on the day the pair was supposed to meet.
