UW Agricultural Education Program Awarded CASE Implementation Grant | News

December 21, 2020 The University of Wyoming is one of six pre-service programs nationwide to be awarded a CASE Implementation Grant, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience, to benefit current and future agricultural education teachers in the state. This grant will allow UW pre-service teachers to become certified in the “Principles of Agricultural Sciences Animal” course through Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE). Lindsey Freeman, a UW assistant lecturer in the School of Teacher Education, was awarded the $7,500 grant to implement CASE certification to pre-service teachers in the College of Education and professional development opportunities for agricultural education teachers in Wyoming. “This grant will help establish a CASE Institute in Wyoming, which will provide agriscience professional development to Wyoming agriculture teachers.
