ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Turner Job Corps said 3/4 of their students are learning virtually and in hopes to get their students back to school and involved with the community they held a vaccination site on Monday.
Students said theyâre happy to get the vaccine so they can get back to their normal lives.
Turner Job Corps student Dashawn Harris said he wanted to get the vaccine to help numbers go down. He said it would also help with the quarantine process.

AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - Phoebe Putney Health System said it anticipates receiving shipments of the Moderna vaccine this week, after a vaccination site in Americus had to reschedule vaccinations due to delivery delays because of bad weather.
Phoebe and Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC) said they can only give what they have in supply.
Julie Miller, the emergency preparedness coordinator at Phoebe, said they can do a little planning, but they don’t have control over when they receive a direct shipment.

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC)
Rhonda Arline, AAPHC director of nursing, said they wanted to give the community a central location.
“It just provides more space for us to vaccinate our patients,” said Arline.
They are in the same building as Pheobe East on Sylvester Road.
Arline said people have been very grateful to receive the vaccine.
