She said the airport is seeing roughly 5,000 passengers come through checkpoints daily. The numbers are expected to grow Friday and Saturday. “A good rule of thumb is to show up two hours before your flight, maybe two and a half to make sure, especially if you’re going to park and leave your car overnight,” Hamm said.
