Roger Cheatham
The body of Roger Cheatham was found Sunday morning about one half mile outside the town of Hurst.
Cheatham walked away from his home in the Hurst-Bush area Thursday. His family said the 72-year-old suffered from dementia.
An autopsy is pending. Foul play is not suspected.
72-year-old Roger Cheatham went missing on Thursday, January 14.
A body was found Sunday, Jan. 17, around 10:15 a.m. about a half a mile from Hurst, by a drone assisting in the search for Cheatham.
The Williamson County Coroner s office confirmed the body did belong to Cheatham.
Law enforcement and volunteers have been conducting searches for Cheatham, who suffered from Alzheimer s, since Friday.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy. No foul play is suspected at this time.
Cheatham s family is asking that people keep them in their prayer s and didn t want to issue any further comment at this time.
