Roger Griffith, who served as the boss of Cairns Department of Public Prosecutions for several years, but was most recently working in the city as a defence barrister, was arraigned in the District Court in Brisbane on Thursday. He pleaded guilty to one count of drug trafficking, one count of money laundering, two counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice and one count of possessing property obtained from the proceeds of trafficking.
