EDITORIAL NOTE: The early report given to members of the media indicated the robbery happened in Penfield, but authorities later said the incident happened in Perinton.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC ) Deputies say two boys are in custody after a carjacking at gunpoint in Perinton led to a police chase that ended in Rochester.
Deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff s Office say someone stole a car at gunpoint in Perinton around 3 a.m. Investigators spotted the car on 490 a short time later and tried to pull it over, but the driver took off. Police say two other cars were following.

(ABC 6 News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff s Office said a vehicle was taken from a bar s parking lot in Rochester Thursday night.
The sheriff s office said a man parked his vehicle in the parking lot at Shar s Country Palace and Bar around 6 p.m.. He told deputies he was only going in to have one drink so he left the vehicle running with the keys in it.
Investigators said when the man went to leave three hours later the vehicle was gone.
No suspects have been identified.

Rochester Transit Bus Slides Into NE Rochester Home

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Slick roads sent a Rochester Transit Bus into a home in northeast Rochester Thursday evening.
The Rochester Fire Department reported the incident occurred around 6:30 PM at 1711 11th Avenue Northeast when the driver of the RPT tried to make it up the hill leading to the Northern Heights neighborhood and was forced to turn around because of the icy conditions. The driver then lost control and the bus slid off the road, hit a tree, and then struck the front deck on the home.
