DOZENS of scarecrows have brought much-needed lockdown cheer in an area of Wrexham. The likes of Batman, Paddintgon Bear, Bob the Builder, Daleks and the Gruffalo have sprung up in the village. Paddington Bear. It all forms part of the Rossett Scarecrow Festival, which also incorporates the nearby areas of Trevalyn and Burton. Bob the Builder. Little Red Riding Hood. These are the The Cat In The Hat, The Gruffalo, Spongebob Squarepants, Mr McGregor s Garden, Tractor Ted, Mad Hatter s Tea Party, Little Paddington, Little Red Riding Hood and the Tyred Dalek . Cat in the Hat. The winner will now be decided by a public vote, with the winner announced on St David s Day, with each of the finalists receiving a £20 book voucher.
