WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The person responsible for a bomb threat Monday afternoon at Lincoln High School has been identified and admitted Tuesday to issuing the threat, said principal Ronald Rasmussen.
An investigation by law enforcement also found the individual did not have the means to carry out the threat, Rasmussen said. Legal and school consequences are pending.
At around 1:25 p.m. Monday, a student reported to high school administration that they observed a nonspecific bomb threat directed at the high school, Rasmussen said. The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was contacted and all students and staff were evacuated to the South Wood County Recreation Center.
