LEINSTER WILL HAVE full-back Jimmy O’Brien available for their Guinness Pro14 clash with Connacht this weekend.
An update issued by the province this afternoon confirmed that the 24-year-old is in contention to play on Saturday at the RDS [KO 7.35pm].

Uncertainty reigns as Christmas approaches and Covid wreaks its havoc but all a professional sport like rugby can do is go on about it’s business as if nothing has changed. Until it does.
Last weekend’s Champions Cup calendar reflected the realities of 2020 with four of the fixtures falling victim to the pandemic and the evolving situation here, and even more so in the UK, suggests that even further complications may lie in store in the weeks to come.

Jack Conan hasn t played for Leinster since the Pro14 victory over Dragons at the start of October
Jack Conan is expected to be available for Leinster selection for this weekend s Guinness Pro14 interprovincial derby against Munster, while Garry Ringrose has been ruled out with an injured jaw.
Leo Cullen s side travel to Thomond Park on Saturday
(kick-off 7.35pm, live commentary on RTÉ Radio 1 s Saturday Sport) and the number 8 has recovered from a neck injury that has kept him sidelined since October.
Conan, whose last Ireland appearance was at the 2019 World Cup against Scotland, was last involved for Leinster against Dragons at the start of October.

The Ireland centre is just back after breaking his jaw in October and looks likely to miss the festive interprovincial games and must be considered a doubt for Leinster s remaining Champions Cup clashes against Saints and Montpellier.
He is definitely out of the St Stephen s Day visit to Munster and it looks like Leo Cullen will be without many of his Ireland front-liners as IRFU player management kicks in.
Johnny Sexton and Caelan Doris were named as players on a week off as they nurse their leg injuries, but it s likely that Andrew Porter, Cian Healy and James Ryan will be among those stood down.
