Christian County loses, Hopkinsville wins in Tuesday action

Pickle Winkler hit a grand slam home run, Reni Shemwell also homered and Riley Hancock and Gracie Harned combined to pitch a no hitter. Christian County improved to 16-5 and 3-0 in the district while UHA fell to 4-6 and 1-2 in the district. The Lady Colonels host Crittenden County Thursday while UHA travels to Fort Campbell. Hopkinsville clinched the number two seed in the 8th district tournament with a 5-2 victory over Fort Campbell. Hopkinsville improved to 4-8 and 2-1 in the district while Fort Campbell fell to 5-11 and wraps up district play 0-3. The Lady Tigers visit Trigg County tomorrow.
