The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet in Clarion at the Wright County Courthouse beginning at 9am to first hear from the Wright County Emergency Operations Center. The discussion will center on the current state of COVID-19 vaccinations and infections in the county. Discussion may go so far as to map out the next courses of action in getting more vaccinations done.
The board will receive and act on the drainage District assessments. These will be spread out over 10, 15, or 20 years. The board will review the best course of action to take.
Adam Clemons, Wright County Secondary Roads Engineer, will give an update on the current state of secondary roads in the county. He may cover any new or existing projects now and in the future. He will also present an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2021 Iowa Department of Transportation Secondary Road budget.

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday morning by first hearing the latest COVID case load statistics and immunizations. The Wright County Emergency Operations Center will address the board on the issue.
The board will then canvass the votes for the special election held for the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Community School District. Once certified, it will be filed with the state and the results will be made official.
The board will approve eleven appointees as Civil Process Servers. The eight women and three men are due to be certified to assume their positions by the board. the board will then approve the eleven appointments as Deputies. The nine men, one woman, and one police dog have been nominated by the Sheriff’s Office to take various positions. Brit is the Narcotics Canine and Patricia Barz is appointed to be Deputy Clerk / Office Manager.

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday morning beginning at 9 am. The board will get an update on the current COVID-19 situation from the Wright County Emergency Operations Center. Vaccinations have begun in the county and there has been a reduction in the number of new cases reported. The board may make adjustments to policies on county properties.
The county has been busy hearing from various departments and agencies regarding the 2022 fiscal year budget. The board must now go before the public in explaining the intent to levy the general basic property tax which exceeds statutory maximum. The board intends to hold a public hearing on March 15th at 9:45 am. The board will also set a date for a public hearing on the Wright County Budget on March 15th at 10 am.
