Even with the somewhat thinner ring gauge, the wrapper itself has quite a bit of texture on it, which isn’t always obvious. I think that the aggressive box press probably helps to accentuate this feature as the cigar provides four defined panels. The aroma from the wrapper is medium-full and smells like many other AGNAORSA-made cigars before it. There’s a dominant mixture of red pepper and cocoa on top of some barnyard and acidity. The covered foot is a bit milder and provides leather, barnyard, sweet cocoa, creaminess and earthiness. Unlike the wrapper, the aroma from the foot is rather balanced. Cold draws have chocolate, creaminess, an artificial lime flavor, and some crackers.
Aganorsa Releasing Supreme Leaf & Rare Leaf In Early 2021
Aganorsa has announced two new releases for early 2021. The first being the latest expression of their Signature taste: Rare Leaf Reserve. Utilizing select lots from their best farms that produce low yields of leaf unique in both flavor and aroma, Rare Leaf Reserve is made entirely of Aganorsa tobacco. A café cover leaf from Jalapa envelops a double binder and filler tobaccos of predominantly Criollo 98 with a just touch of Corojo 99.

AGANORSA Leaf Sending Rare Leaf Reserve to Select Retailers
AGANORSA Leaf has announced that it has created a new line called Rare Leaf Reserve that will be hitting select stores in February.
It uses a café-colored wrapper leaf grown in Nicaragua’s Jalapa region, a double binder of criollo 98 tobaccos from two different farms, and a filler that is mostly Nicaraguan-grown criollo 98 with a bit of corojo 99 as well.
It is being offered in three sizes:
