RANDLEMAN, N.C. Multiple emergency crews with fire units from Guil-Rand Fire and the Randleman Fire Department can take a sigh of relief after putting out a fire at a Hardee’s in Randleman Saturday.
According to emergency officials, Guil-Rand Fire Department units along with Sophia, Westside, and Level Cross helped Randleman Fire extinguish a fire off High Point Street, across from Randleman High School.
Kernersville Fire said the call came in around 9:45 a.m. A preliminary investigation shows the fire may have been caused due to a water heater malfunction.

Two men were injured – one seriously – after the driver lost control of their truck and collided with a wall on the N14, where it joins the R563 in Oaktree, northwest of Krugersdorp, on Wednesday afternoon.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 17:27 along with two other private emergency services and the West Rand Fire Department, said ER24 spokesperson Ross Campbell.
The passenger, a man in his thirties, was found sitting in the grass next to the vehicle. He had suffered minor injuries and was taken to Yusuf Dadoo Hospital for further treatment by one of the other private medical services on the scene.

ARCHDALE, N.C. A 1,700-pound Quarter horse named Gabe is now safe and sound following a recuse from a swimming pool in Archalde Friday!
According to Battalion Chief Joey Layne, with Guil-Rand Fire Department, witnesses said the horse broke through the gate at the front of a barn and ran toward the pool. The pool was covered but the horse didn’t see it and fell in.
