Because of Southwestern Oklahoma State University Commencement activities taking place through May 2 at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on the Weatherford campus, the university announced that there will not be a COVID vaccination clinic this Friday.
In fact, Dr. Randy Curry, coordinator of the SWOSU College of Pharmacy Rural Health Center, said the last large-scale clinic at SWOSU will be Friday, May 7, to finish up any second doses that area residents are needing. He says any residents who receive first doses on May 7 will need to book a second appointment through the Oklahoma State Department of Health portal or by calling their local health department office.
