A STEETON nursery’s Nativity has proved a hit online. Three and four-year-olds from Bridge House Nursery – and their helpers – joined forces with village vicar the Rev David Coleman to ensure parents and care home residents didn’t miss out on the performance. A socially-distanced production staged in St Stephen’s Church hall was posted on YouTube. Nursery manager, Donna Barnes, said: “We thought it was a great idea when the Rev David suggested it and provided a script he’d adapted from Hayley Down’s The Story of Christmas. We cracked on with the costumes and our children did a wonderful job.”
