After the coronavirus outbreak, it looked that the primary market was down in the dumps but with the smart recovery by Indian shares following the March crash and the gradual easing of the lockdown, the launch of Rossari Biotech public offer in July ushered the IPO season in earnest.
After the successful launch of SBI Card, Rossari Biotech launched an IPO in March but then cancelled it. It was also the first company to kick off the IPO season in July amid COVID-19 crisis. The overwhelming response to the Rossari Biotech IPO saw others take the plunge and the rest of the year was busy.

Railway apprentices: RailTel Corporation announces apprenticeship.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a public sector company, has invited applications for apprenticeship training. A total of 68 candidates will be engaged for training in Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering disciplines. Graduate and diploma engineers are eligible for the post.
The duration of the training will be one year.
Graduate apprentices will receive Rs 14000 per month stipend and diploma apprentices will receive Rs 12000 per month stipend, the RailTel Corporation has said.
Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship or terminated their apprenticeship mid-way or pursuing their apprenticeship with other organisations are not eligible, it has also said.

Indian Railways launched a trial project of the hospital management information system (HMIS) on Friday, December 11, in a bid to achieve a paradigm shift in the healthcare system maintained by the railway network, and to prioritize the well-being of its workforce and their beneficiaries. According to the Railway Ministry, the HMIS is implemented as a pilot project at the Central Hospital, Lallaguda, of the South Central Railway zone. New Delhi: Indian Railways has launched the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) to provide better health care facilities to its work force with the help of information technology. The HMIS Trial Project has been launched over South Central Railway.
