STAFF REPORTS Rebel Stages are bringing Broadway to the Poconos in May.  Starting with the Community Concert series at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort on May 11, the troupe will also perform the classic Godspell at the Castle Inn on May 28 and at Shawnee Inn on May 30.   According to the Rebel Stages website, the troupe aims to provide communities with professional-quality theatre and arts education at an affordable cost. Their goal is to to nurture, support and embrace performance artists of all genders, ages, shapes, sizes, orientations, races and cultures while cultivating an appreciation of the arts in future generations by embracing the artistry of Women, BIPOC (Black, indigenous and people of color) and LGBTQ+ artists and stories – and rebel against the traditional and often stagnant box in the performing arts industries.
