The Freeport Concert Band will kick off its 2021 Music Under the Stars summer concert series on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the historic Koenig Bandshell in Freeport’s Krape Park.

The Freeport Concert Band will begin its Music Under the Stars series at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Koenig Bandshell in Krape Park. The name of the show will be “Welcome Back from the Unknown.” The conductor will be Renee Schultz.
2. Music on the Patio summer performances will begin at Park Hills Golf Course
The Music on the Patio summer performances will begin with music by Randy Kit from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Park Hills Golf Course. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs.

Associates used to visiting the motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, Ohio, found something unexpected in March 2020: They were locked out.
Chanin Wilson, director of associates for the congregation, said the lockdown like those imposed at convents around the world because of the coronavirus pandemic had to be done to protect the sisters inside. But it was still difficult for the associates.
