There’s no official word yet on who will replace Adnan Virk as the new WWE RAW lead announcer on Monday, but there is speculation on at least one name who has been on WWE TV as of late.
As noted, WWE and Virk announced on Tuesday afternoon that they have parted ways. Virk, who just started with WWE by replacing Tom Phillips on the post-WrestleMania 37 RAW last month, later issued a statement thanking WWE, noting that the weekly WWE travel along with his other jobs was too much of a grind for he and his family.
It’s been reported by PWInsider that if WWE officials have made a decision on Virk’s replacement for Monday’s RAW, it’s being kept very close to the vest so far. There’s a lot of speculation on former UFC and American Ninja Warrior announcer Jimmy Smith joining the red brand announce team as he has been putting in a lot of work to prepare for future WWE broadcast assignments as of late. Smith has done some WWE NXT work over the last several weeks.

Former WWE analyst and wife of Jon Moxley, Renee Paquette (Renee Young in WWE), commented on Max Caster’s remarks alluding to her podcast in an hilarious (yet sexually suggestive way) on AEW Dynamite. The Acclaimed’s Caster said the following during his ring entrance rap,
“Call your girl, she all in my mentions. Trying to hit me up for some Oral Sessions.”
Renee responded to the remark on her Twitter page with the following, );

CM Punk On If He Keeps Up With Today’s Pro Wrestling
Former WWE Champion CM Punk recently spoke with Graham Matthews of Bleacher Report to promote the “Jakob’s Wife” horror movie that was just released theatrically and digitally today. Punk was asked if his wife AJ Lee watches his movies with him.
Punk noted that AJ is as supportive as they come when it comes to watching his movies with him, even though she’s not a big fan of the horror genre.
“She’s not a horror movie fan, so she’ll watch it because I’m in it, but she’s not a fan of blood and gore and being scared at all,” Punk said. “She’s the kind of person that will watch this film and have nightmares, so I’ll probably have to make her pancakes the next day.”
CM Punk Comments After Taking Spinebusters From Former NFL Player
Former WWE Champion CM Punk is still filming the “Heels” series for Starz.
Punk took to Twitter today and revealed that he took two spinebusters from former NFL player James Harrison.
“Just took two of the lightest spine busters I ever took from @jharrison9292 and I’m MAD about it,” Punk joked.
Former WWE on-air talent Renee Paquette (Renee Young) responded to Punk’s tweet and wrote, “Sounds like a comeback to me.”
Punk responded, “A comeback is when a babyface gets some type of physical revenge on his opponent.”
