Diego Hernandez should resign from Reynolds School Board March 04 2021
On the heels of his resignation from the Oregon House of Representatives under a cloud of sexual harrassment complaints, Diego Hernandez should also resign from the Reynolds School Board.
Rep. Diego Hernandez avoided expulsion from the Oregon House in February by resigning in the aftermath of multiple violations of legislative rules against sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.
Now, Hernandez faces another decision, whether he should continue to serve in an elected capacity on the Reynolds School Board. That group has tentatively scheduled a discussion and vote on March 10 on a resolution where it might ask Hernandez to step down voluntarily.

Rebecca Woodbury, the digital services chief for the city of San Rafael, Calif., who made a name for herself as an outspoken advocate for innovation in local government, has started her own company.
The startup, called Department of Civic Things, is a consultancy Woodbury has created to carry on her work with more local governments especially small ones.
