For smartphones, it was marked by the Mi 10i this year while the Mi QLED 4K did it for its smart TV lineup. Xiaomi consistently says that its Mi brand is destined to offer the latest in tech. This is, however, contradicted by the presence of numerous affordable Mi TV models, with some of them starting as low as Rs 13,000. smart televisions feature the same specifications but come in three different screen sizes. The Redmi Smart TV X series starts at ₹32,999 for the 50-inch variant, ₹38,999 for the 55-inch option and ₹57,999 for the 65-inch variant. The new Smart TV X series will go on sale on Amazon and Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Studios from March 26 at 12 noon and it will also be made available in offline retail stores later on.

Redmi is all set to launch its first-ever smart TV in India today. While we are not sure which TV model Redmi will bring for the Indian market, rumours suggest that there could be two models – one with 55-inch screen and second with 65-inch screen. Xiaomi is launching its maiden smart TV under its Redmi brand in India on Wednesday (March 17) at 12pm. Xiaomi already has been selling smart TVs in the country under its more premium brand, MI. The event will be online on the official website of Redmi and their social media handles.
The teaser page for the upcoming TV has been promoting XL Experience , hinting that it is going to be large screen TV. The page also suggests that the TV is Made in India . A leak in February had suggested that Redmi TV will be launched in two sizes in India- 55-inch and 65-inch.
