Microsoft Corp. has reportedly signed a lease for an 85,000-square-foot building in Hillsboro.
The Redmond, Washington-based tech giant s lease is for the Ambercreek Building, located at 9800 N.E. Gibbs Drive.
The Portland Business Journal originally reported Microsoft s lease in Hillsboro in late December.
The company has long been searching for space in the Portland metropolitan area for its cloud division, the Portland Business Journal has also reported.
Pamplin Media Group has reached out to Microsoft for comment.
Microsoft doesn t have an active business license in Hillsboro, a city spokesperson said.
Marketing materials for the Ambercreek Building say it has been on the market for four months and highlight its access to public transit, outdoor spaces and Highway 26.
