Police determine Washtenaw County man was shot in Detroit

PITTSFIELD TWP., MI – Police investigating a shooting originally believed to have occurred at a Pittsfield Township apartment complex discovered the victim was actually shot in Detroit.
Police were called at about 8 p.m. Thursday, May 13, to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for a reported gunshot victim being treated at the hospital, according to the Pittsfield Township Police Department.
The victim, a 25-year-old Pittsfield Township man, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm that was not considered life threatening, police said.
The shooting was originally believed to have occurred in the 2100 block of Glencoe Hills Drive, police said.
Redford police say the child was located and is safe.
Authorities issued the EMA Friday night for Wissert who went missing near the intersection of Seven Mile Road and Beech Daly in Redford.

REDFORD, Mich. (WXYZ) â Michigan State Police have canceled an Endangered Missing Advisory for 8-year-old Maleah Elizabeth Wissert.
MSP tweeted Saturday morning that the child had been found safe.

She had been last seen in the area of 7 Mile and Beech Daly in Redford.
