A few KCII area wrestlers were represented in The Predicament’s latest Class 1A individual rankings before the holiday break.
Highland has a pair of grapplers recognized with sophomore Easton Schlabaugh ranked sixth at 106 lbs and senior Bryce Thompson eighth at 113 lbs. Schlabaugh is 5-2 at the break and most recently placed fifth at the Fort Madison Invitational. Thompson is 6-1 and claimed the top spot at the same tournament. Sigourney-Keota’s Jack Clarahan is also ranked sitting at eighth at 160 lbs. The sophomore is 20-3 on the year and placed third at the Regina Invitational on December 19th.
Both schools will start up the second half of the season on January 7th with Highland at Alburnett and Sigourney-Keota hosting a meet.
