REXBURG The Rexburg Children’s Choir was featured on NBC Nightly News Sunday night as part of the broadcast’s ‘There’s Good News Tonight’ segment.
Anchor Kate Snow reported how director Ben Watson created the choir’s recent “For Unto Us a Child is Born” music video using green screen technology. One hundred singers between the ages 10 and 17 are in the video, which has been viewed over 40,000 times on Facebook and has over 21,000 views on YouTube.
Watson shared how the video has been therapeutic for him following the death of his brother, David Watson, who passed away in November from complications of COVID-19.
