A man had to have brain surgery after his friend led police on a 75mph chase and crashed into a tree.
Stean Daniel Cummings, 23, of Second Avenue, had been spotted by an armed officer dealing with another incident and became suspicious of his driving on July 31, 2019.
The officer began to follow the Vauxhall Astra Cummings was driving as it sped off.

Stean Daniel Cummings, 23, of Second Avenue, was driving through Grimsby on July 31, 2019, when he was spotted by an armed officer dealing with another incident and became suspicious of his driving.
