Woman gang raped by former soldier and two mates on Anzac Day

03:55 EDT, 6 May 2021 A prison guard who also served in the Australian army is one of three men accused of dressing a woman up as a soldier and gang raping her on Anzac Day.  Glenn Robinson, 35, from Warrimoo in the lower Blue Mountains of NSW, was charged with six counts of aggravated sexual assault in company following the alleged assault last month.  Police allege Robinson and a friend, 26, were drinking at The Mean Fiddler pub in Rouse Hill, in Sydney s north-west, in the early hours of April 25. The pair were said to have invited a woman, 37, back to an address in nearby Riverstone where the alleged rape took place.

Three men charged over alleged Riverstone sexual assault

The woman sought medical treatment at Blacktown Hospital on Monday where police were notified. An investigation was launched and detectives arrested a 26-year-old Riverstone man and 35-year-old Valley Heights man on Tuesday afternoon. A warrant was executed at a Riverstone property where several items were collected as evidence. Both men were charged with six counts of aggravated sexual assault. The Riverstone man appeared at Blacktown Local Court where he was granted conditional bail to appear again on Thursday, July 1.
