YMCA Marlin Swim Team ends winter season

awards presentation on March 25 at the YMCA. Swimmers were recognized
for participation in the Northwest Ohio YMCA Swim League Season that
began in the Fall of 2020, Championship Meet top 20 places, Most
Improved Swimmers in each age group, Marlin’s Time Records Broken this
season and 2021 inductees to the 5000 Meter Club. The team also
recognized and celebrated three swimmers who advanced on to the Great
Lakes Zone Meet with qualifying times in eight events plus one National

During their regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 7, the Lone Tree city council set two public hearings regarding the FY22 budget. The first meeting, set for the beginning of the council’s regular meeting on Jan. 4, will concern SF634 max levy property tax certification. The second hearing, to approve the FY22 budget, was set for the beginning of the council’s regular meeting on Feb. 1.
In new business, the council unanimously passed three resolutions to appoint the official city attorney, engineer and newspaper. Crystal K. Raiber and Robert S. Michael of Holland, Michael, Raiber & Sittig PLC were designated as city attorney.
