Maury Regional Medical Center has partnered with the Maury County Health Department to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.
The two southern Middle Tennessee organizations will operate in tandem to administer vaccinations to eligible members of the public.
The two entities began administering the vaccination on Wednesday morning at a drive-through facility in a parking lot at Columbia State Community College.
“We are pleased to be working with the Maury County Health Department to pool our resources and offer more vaccinations for the public, said Alan Watson, the CEO of Maury Regional Health. We continue to see the virus impact residents, particularly our senior population that is more vulnerable and more likely to be hospitalized due to COVID-19 and the vaccine is a crucial step in offering them vital protection.
