We all know about Domino s famous 30 minutes or it s free policy on deliveries. We ve heard that for years. And although the free pizza rule is no longer in effect, Domino s says it continues to guarantee that you will get your pizza delivered within 30 minutes. And when ordering pizza for delivery, waiting around is always the hardest part. But there s nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your delivery time get delayed. Well, that s because Domino s has been experiencing longer delivery times than is typical for the chain, and the company admitted this issue came to light during the pandemic.
Domino s CEO Ritch Allison said on an earnings call last week that delivery times have not been where they should be: With the challenges that we ve had in staffing, we haven t made the service gains and improvements that I would like to see here in 2021, he said, as reported by
