HANNIBAL â The city of Hannibal is in the market for a new radio system to serve its fire, police and building inspector departments. It is hopeful that a sizable portion of the cost will be covered by a grant.
âUSDA has assisted other departments with the purchase of the radio equipment that will be necessary,â said Ryan Neisen, Hannibalâs deputy fire chief, during the Tuesdayâs meeting of the Hannibal City Council when approval to apply for the grant was given.
The city is seeking to replace its analog system and replace it with a digital MOSWIN (Missouri Statewide Interoperability Network) system.
