Every pitcher dreams of pitching a perfect game. But almost no pitcher dreams of striking out every batter in a game, because that’s virtually impossible.
Routt left-hander Cory Ronan came close on Monday, striking out 15 of the 16 batters he faced in an 11-0 win over West Central in five innings. One batter reached on an error in the first inning.
Ronan said his arm felt really good going into the game. “Before the game … before every game, I say, this day is a good day for me every single game,” Ronan said.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio State could be nearing its 12th 2022 football commitment and third at the cornerback position.
Over the last month, Ryan Turner of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida has looked more like a tourist rather than a standout junior cornerback.
Turner, the No. 35 cornerback nationally, has made the trek from his home in Hollywood, Florida which is 23 miles north of Miami across the Midwest and Northeast in search of his college home. Over the last three weekends, Turner has taken self-guided visits at Ohio State, Clemson and Boston College. The three schools, along with Penn State, are at the top of his 32 offers.
