Texas Tech Athletics With their seventh round pick (No. 222 overall) the Dodgers drafted right-handed pitcher Ryan Sublette from Texas Tech. Yes, another pitcher! The Dodgers have now taken a pitcher with their first six picks of the draft. Sublette was widely viewed as one of the better relief pitchers in all of college baseball in 2021. He appeared in 19 games, posting an ERA of 2.34. In 42 1⁄ 3 innings, he struck out 62 while walking 17. His WHIP was 1.06.
