How Echo is helping get the North-East back to work with free recruitment ads for businesses

Working for the North-East THE last year has been brutal for businesses and jobseekers alike. Business owners have had to make tough decisions and many employees have faced uncertain futures, furlough and unemployment. That s why throughout June, LocaliQ and Newsquest North-East - publishers of The Northern Echo, Darlington and Stockton Times and Durham Advertiser series - is launching its Working for the North-East campaign, which aims to help people find a new job. Love Local Jobs The campaign will highlight how jobseekers can find employment, consider alternative careers or begin retraining. We want to share their stories and create a permanent record of their incredible achievements, so launched our Health and Care Awards 2021. The event will be streamed live on Thursday, March 25.
