Egipto reitera respaldo a la causa palestina

El Cairo, 3 ago (Prensa Latina) Egipto ratificó su respaldo a la causa palestina al tiempo que denunció los intentos de Israel por cambiar la demografía y el statu quo legal de la zona oriental de Jerusalén, reportó hoy un comunicado oficial. El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores Sameh Shoukry reiteró la histórica postura de El Cairo durante un encuentro con Mahmoud al Habbash, asesor del presidente palestino para Asuntos Religiosos y Relaciones Islámicas.
Shoukry rechazó cualquier intento de socavar la identidad árabe, islámica y cristiana de Jerusalén oriental, así como los lugares sagrados de la ciudad.
