San Francisco: Apple is reportedly working on a relatively affordable clamshell folding iPhone.
According to Wccftech news website, the Cupertino based giant might have settled on a Galaxy Z Flip-like design for its upcoming foldable iPhone. This foldable phone will also be more affordable than the competing rivals in the same market.
The work is still in its early stage, and the company is reportedly testing the shell of a clamshell-like iPhone at a Foxconn factory in Shenzhen, China.

San Francisco, Feb 11 : Apple is reportedly working on a relatively affordable clamshell folding iPhone.

There are reports that Apple is working on a clamshell-like folding iPhone that it plans to launch in the future. The details around the foldable iPhone are shared by YouTuber Jon Prosser, in his latest video titled ‘iPhone Flip - The Real Folding iPhone? (exclusive)’.
In the video, Posser mentioned that there is a prototype currently in development of a clamshell folding iPhone similar to the style of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. There are shells of this device being tested in a Shenzhen Foxconn factory. He further points out that Apple is currently not testing the entire unit but only the hinge durability. Also, the clamshell folding iPhone would come with an actual foldable OLED display supplied by Samsung and 5G support.
