“I am genuinely worried about buyers because it is difficult and daunting for the layman to handle this high-pressure market and agents,” Dunn said. It is younger buyers from “Generation Rent”, who feel they are being locked out of the property market, and middle-aged Kiwis who are not set up for retirement that he is focused on. These buyer groups needed help to break into the market and make their way up the ladder, Dunn said. He has also developed a property investment vehicle, Real Estate Together, which matches aspiring property buyers with others and then helps them find a good property to invest in.
