Fashion industry hails CMA’s greenwashing guidance
Fashion brands and retailers have said the UK competition watchdog s draft guidance about green claims is a step in the right direction.
Earlier this week, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) released a draft of six principles businesses, including fashion brands, must follow when making environmental claims. The CMA will now enter a consultation period on the draft guidelines until 16 July with the final guidance expected to be released at the end of September.
